The holidays are the one time of year that we make an effort to get everyone together and catch up on each other’s lives. Unfortunately, this is also the time of year when we learn what’s really going on with everyone, especially when it comes to their health and well-being.

Instead of exchanging gifts this holiday season, how about giving the gift of good health by hosting a Family Wellness Challenge?

We all want to see our relatives look and feel their best, and what better way to do that then by getting together regularly and supporting each other to make good food choices and move their bodies?

As a health coach as well as an Independent Beachbody Coach, one thing I’ve learned from my clients is that they are more likely to reach their goals when they have the ongoing support and participation of their loved ones. It can be hard to make changes when you’re the only one doing something differently, so having a relative or two join you can make all the difference.

How to Create a Wellness Challenge That’s Right for Your Family

One of the reasons people have trouble creating new habits is that they’re all treated the same when it comes to healthy eating and physical activity. But there’s no-one-size-fits-all approach to health and wellness and we need to take into account that everybody is different and has different needs.

You may want to lose fifteen pounds while your teenager may need a little help making good food choices throughout the day. Your aunt may want relief for her arthritis while your cousin may just want more energy to keep up with the kids.

What’s great about Beachbody is you can find a program that fits any goal and schedule. Workouts run anywhere from ten minutes to an hour, and all programs come with recipes and meal plans that you can customize to fit your schedule and goals. Beachbody also offers a line of nutritional shakes and supplements to give you the boost you need to keep up and keep going with the workouts and your life.

You and your family can dance, stretch, cardio, and lift your way to vibrant health!

What’s more, if you find that the program you chose isn’t to your liking, you can always switch to another one!

Over 700+ workouts can be streamed online 24/7 and even downloaded in advance for when you may not have access to the internet. If you have a relative that doesn’t have access to high speed internet, you can recommend a DVD option.

How to Get Started

There are two ways to get started with a Family Wellness Challenge Group:

Option 1: You can work with me as your coach, where I’ll get you and your family set up in a private challenge group. Everyone will be able to track their progress with additional support from me. There is no extra charge to have me on as your coach. Everyone simply enrolls at the level that is comfortable for them and I’ll take care of the rest.

Option 2: You can lead the Wellness Challenge Group by yourself with my support. You’ll get the same benefits as above, except you’ll be running the show. I’ll be available as your coach whenever you have questions or need tips on motivation and accountability. There is an additional investment required, and you’ll be eligible to receive discounts on your own purchases as well as commissions from purchases made by anyone who enrolls under you.
